How refractive surgery works
Refractive surgery procedures adjust the shape of a patient’s cornea, the outer layer of the eye. This changes the focal point of the light that passes through the eye, correctly focusing it onto the surface of the retina (the nerve layer at the back of the eye that transmits visual images to the brain). Refractive surgery prices
- Traditional LASIK: $995 per eye
- Traditional LASIK enhancement: $600 per eye
- CustomVue™ LASIK: $1350 per eye
- CustomVue™ LASIK enhancement: $750 per eye (performed to improve patients who have had traditional LASIK previously)
- IntraLase® LASIK (all laser lasik): $1350 per eye
- IntraLase® CustomVue™ LASIK: $1700 per eye
- PRK: $1200 per eye
- CK (Conductive Keratoplasty): $900
