What if LASIK is not for you? There are several other FDA approved refractive procedures that can be done. If the patient has a cataract, there is always that option of doing a refractive lens exchange. If the patient cornea is irregular or too thin, the patient can have PRK. If the prescription is too high or too low the patient may be a candidate for an implantable Collamer lens. Also if the patient has any corneal disease like keratoconus there are other procedures we can do in order to improve their vision.
