What is the Juvéderm Process?
With Juvéderm the injection process takes only about 15 minutes and results are immediate. Plus, there’s minimal recovery or downtime.
Juvéderm® is an exciting new gel dermal filler that is safe and long lasting. Juvéderm is typically used to augment lost volume in your face and most commonly your fill nasolabial folds. (nasolabial folds – the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).
As we age, our skin changes. Over time, the natural volume of youthful skin begins to diminish as wrinkles and folds form. But, with Juvéderm injectable gel, you don’t have to just sit back and let it happen! This dermal filler is made of non-animal-derived hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the human body, so the results it provides look natural and last longer than some other cosmetic fillers on the market. Injecting Juvéderm into the lower face and makes it full and supple, and enhances the overall beauty of the face.
Approved by the FDA in 2006, Juvéderm is made using new technology that makes the gel smoother, and easier to inject. Juvéderm can be used for wrinkle correction on the face, to treat deep folds and smile lines, to contour the cheek and chin regions of the face, as well as add volume and fullness to lips. Results can be seen immediately, and they last an average of six months.
The new Juvéderm XC formulation is enhanced for patient comfort. You can now get the smoothness you expect, with the improved comfort you want. Juvéderm® XC provides smooth and natural looking results and now a more comfortable experience – so everyone will notice but no one will know! In fact, studies show results of Juvéderm last up to one year.
